“Celebrating 20 years of trusted fun, friendship, and growth at Dream Big Day Camp.”
Leader in Training Program (LIT) for current grades 6-8.
Our Leader in Training (LIT) Program is designed for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders ready to take their camp experience to the next level. Through this fun and engaging program, your child will begin their journey toward becoming a confident young leader, all while developing essential skills that will serve them for life. This coed program has three main parts including (1) classroom style leadership discussions and goal setting, (2) creating and leading our campers in our Olympic Competition and Buddy Time and (3) still enjoying being a Dream Big camper with the full breadth of age appropriate activities.
The LIT Program includes:
Exploring Leadership Styles – Understanding different approaches to leadership and discovering their own unique style.
Goal Setting – Learning how to set and achieve personal and team goals.
Olympic Planning & Execution – Creating and leading exciting camp events from start to finish.
Service Learning Projects – Making a positive impact by participating in community-focused initiatives.
Buddy Programs – Mentoring and supporting younger campers, fostering responsibility and empathy.
Your child will leave the program with new skills, increased confidence, and a deeper understanding of what it means to lead – all while having a blast at camp!
Each session runs on a 2 or 3-week cycle while offering weekly enrollment options.
The following are important dates to help you stay up to date.
We encourage personal growth in each child by providing an excellent program facilitated by nurturing and highly trained staff.
Anchored in this safe and supportive community, each camper will have fun, acquire new skills, feel valued for who they are and develop a sense of belonging.
